Meet Doublecrash from Italy
Author, writer, translator, with years of experiences in 3D and photography
“Now, I’ve discovered AI and all that knowledge is helping me,” he says.
Doublecrash currently uses SoftimageXSI for 3D and Stable Diffusion for AI, “but as soon as I have some money to spend, I'd like to try seriously Midjourney.”
“And prompting. It's the key to everything, otherwise we all finish to produce images that are all the same,” he adds.
The World At Large & Healing Depression
Doublecrash says, “I'm in my fifties, I struggle with a heart condition, I don't like the world we're living in. I think that Facebook and the likes are the worst thing ever happened to humankind.”
“Generative art arrived in a moment in which I was depressed and struggled to come out of that deep pit. It gave me back the desire to be creative again and helped me a lot with my writing,” he says.
“Visualization is one of the things I teach to my creative writing students. Artificial intelligence is a wonderful mean to achieve that,” he says.
“Creativity is the key to my well-being.”
Learning Never Stops
“I'm still learning,” Doublecrash says. “It's not like 3D where I can say I know most of the things. This is all new. I still don't have a style and I don't know if I will ever have one.”
And we think Doublecrash has a beautiful long-term goal:
“Nothing,” they say. “I want to create.”
“Every single [piece I do] means something.”
