Otherwise known as @dallexbabe to his Instagram followers, Devante uses DALL-E 2, Midjourney, and Procreate to execute his vision and ideas. And, he’s interested in learning more about Stable Diffusion.
“Stable Diffusion has a steep learning curve but offers a ton of customization and truly lets you control your image generation. Or so I’ve heard.”
Today, his focus is on Midjourney, “I just want to learn more about the different functions within Midjourney and how to better control my generations.”
Too Many Ways to List
Devante says, “I am thrilled to say that AI art has opened up a whole new world of possibilities for me as an artist. My technical limitations no longer hold me back, and I am able to bring my wildest ideas to life. I no longer struggle to put my visions on paper and instead, I am free to explore the endless possibilities of AI-assisted art creation.”
He describes the following piece as, “funky, artistic, and very PNW,” and it’s a piece that speaks to his uniqueness and soul.
We loved discovering how Devante is “obsessed with Geisha. My favorite movie is Memoirs of a Geisha and I've probably seen it 20+ times. Never gets old. Never fails to make me cry.”
What’s in Devante’s future?
He hopes “to find a way to monetize my work in a way that allows me to be creative and provide training or help for new and aspiring engineers. I enjoy helping others to grow their knowledge and it would be so cool to find a way to do that with AI.”
After having the unique opportunity to connect with Devante outside of this interview, we can say with confidence that he’ll be a source of strength for newcomers under his tutelage.
